We seek goods and services for which the economies of Scotland and Romania complement each other. A good example is the whisky from Scotland and the wine from Romania. Scotland is the home of the world famous "Scotch whisky", which sets the standards for spirited drinks. Romania is the 6th producer of wine in Europe and the 12th in the world (2008 data of FAO). Each country lacks what the other has aplenty. There are many other examples like this.
We have the required language skills, credentials and excellent contacts in both countries. Accession of Romania to the EU in 2007 provides a good timing and the local Scottish and Romanian authorities are very supportive. We strongly believe there are very good opportunities for trade.
